Sirsoti and surrouding villages like Gobha, Dorahar, Bijpur, Nemna etc are extremely undeveloped part of Sonebhadra (UP), one of the least developed district of India. Its’ majority population is tribal and about 90 % people are wage labourers. There is no schools for senior secondary education in its vicinity. Education of poor girls are highly affected. Its population also constitute Baiga Community which has been declared as community on the verse of extinction. Navodaya Mission, an NGO run by highly motivated engineers have been working for the education of these poor children. Many boys and girls have been able to qualify for polytechnic exams and they are now studying in Lucknow, Kanpur and Bareilli which they never heard before we started teaching them. For providing education efficiently and bringing long term impact we need resources so that poor population of this isolated area may also avail modern education and get connected with modern world.
