He used to volunteer for Navodaya Mission during its formative years. Many children availed from him to learn chemistry. Children of class 11th and 12th even used to go his home to learn chemistry whenever he was busy at lab and not available for teaching in the classroom. Many of children like Vishal, Abhay etc. taught by him did engineering also.
